Oats Upma


Oats upma is a healthier alternative to  rava upma which uses rolled or steel cut oats in place of semolina and  adds in delicious veggies for a quick meal!

To prep:  Chop onions and carrots. Give frozen peas a rinse.

Step one

Heat oil in a pan.  Add cumin seeds, onions, garlic, green chili paste, and ginger


step two

Add vegetables and spices.


Add oats and water. Cover and cook until oats are done.  Top with desiccated coconut.
