Creamy Sabudana Kheer

A simple sabudana kheer recipe that is delicious and upvas/vrat friendly! Tapioca pearls are cooked with milk, sugar and cardamom powder for this Indian sweet. It's also known as sago kheer or sabudana payasam.



Just four  ingredients are needed! Milk Sugar Cardamom powder Sabudana (tapioca pearls)

Heat milk on stovetop. Add in soaked sabudana, sugar and cardamom powder. Let simmer.

Sabudana will look transparent when cooked

Optionally top with almond pieces / dry fruits and serve.  Can be served warm or chilled.
