Add water, sugar to small pot/sauce pan and bring to boil. Once boiling, add in rose petals and let simmer on low-medium.
After simmering for about 10 minutes, you'll see the petals losing color and the water will absorb the floral notes.
Strain the petals from the syrup. Let syrup cool.
Add lemon juice and water to a pitcher
Add rose simple syrup
Add ice per taste and garnish with edible rose petals

Again, some may prefer more. The recipe is balanced but can definitely be adjusted per your preference.Leftover rose simple syrup can be kept in a jar in the fridge for future use.
