Saffron Milk / Kesar Milk


Kesar milk or saffron milk is a quick  treat flavored with saffron, crushed almonds and a hint of cardamom. A  traditional Indian drink!

Step one

Soak almonds 10-15 minutes in water  and blend into a paste OR grind almonds into a fine powder. (Skip if nut allergy)


step two

Add milk, sugar and saffron to kettle or pot and bring to boil on stovetop. Mix in almond powder or paste if using.


Pour into a cup
