Kesar Pista Ice Cream (Saffron Pistachio)

This creamy and quick kesar pista (saffron pistachio) ice  cream recipe can be made with just a few ingredients and time.  It has a  light saffron/floral taste that is the star of the treat with bits of  pistachio for some contrast.


Bloom saffron strands in milk

Whisk heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In a Kitchen-aid mixer, it takes only about 3-4 minutes on the highest speed

Mix condensed milk, pistachios, cardamom, saffron milk in a bowl. Gently fold into whipped cream.

Pour into freezer safe container and freeze
