Date Chutney
Khajoor ki chutney is a sweet and mildly spiced date chutney without tamarind (imli). It is tasty and very easy to make. Khajoor means dates, the dried fruit. Khajoor chutney goes great with pani puri, chaats, sev pur, samosas and so much more.

- 1 cup dates 150g
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin coriander powder dhana jeeru
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 6 tbsp sugar
Soak dates in warm water for thirty minutes.
Blend all ingredients to form a smooth paste. Use the water used to soak the dates in step 1.
Adjust water amount to thickness of your liking. I like it a little thicker. Serve.
