Easy Indian Apple Chutney

- 5 apples, gala 785g whole, 580g peeled, cored, and chopped
- 7 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin coriander powder
- 1½ tbsp lemon juice
- ¾ cup water adjust for your preference of consistency, start with ½ cup and work your way up
Place chopped and peeled apples in a pan with salt, sugar and cinnamon powder. Mix and turn on stove on medium-high.
Let apples simmer on medium until fork tender. About 5-7 minutes. Mix in between to prevent sticking.
Add remaining spices and lemon juice. Mix and turn off stove. Remove pan from heat. Let apples cool.
Blend in blender jar or food processor to make smooth paste.
Add water to adjust consistency to a chutney.
Serve.
