Equipment

  • 1 measuring spoon
  • 1 small bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp clove powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 3 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp fennel powder sub 1/3 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Measure out and mix all ingredients to make a quick subsitute garam masala spice blend!

Notes

Note, this is intended as a quick substitute for garam masala when you run out. Traditionally whole spices are lightly toasted then ground to make the spice blend.
