Pistachio cupcakes with a saffron cream cheese frosting! Inspired by the flavors of Kesar Pista Ice Cream. Saffron strands are are soaked in milk. That saffron milk is used to infuse the cream cheese mixture. This is used as a frosting!

Inspired by one of the most popular Indian desserts, next up is Gulab Jamun Ice Cream. Heavy whipping cream and condensed milk are two of the main ingredients to make this saffron, cardamom ice cream that has a hint of rose. Add in some sweet gulab jamuns and top with rose petals for garnish.
Another idea is to use ready made vanilla ice cream. Add in mini gulab jamuns and saffron milk for an even quicker treat.

Jalebis taste best fresh and hot so it is definitely a sweet I love best homemade. All this recipe does is add rose flavor and sweetened coconut shreds for a delicious new taste.
Jalebis are flavored primarily with saffron sugar syrup. So the saffron syrup tastes delicious paired with coconut. I’ve used this flavor pairing to make Coconut Jalebi Cupcakes as well.

Thandai baklava is one of the most unique Indian fusion desserts.
Layers of phyllo sheets with a delicious thandai nut mixture in between are baked and topped with a sugar syrup. Try it out for your next special occasion!

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this next idea using either Homemade Kaju Katli or from the store.

Ras malai filled cake of your dreams topped with a rose whipped cream! The topping is easy to make with heavy cream.
Topped with edible flowers. Sure to be a hit at an upcoming festive occasion!
I wanted a rasmalai cake that actually tasted like rasmalai, not just a rasmalai milk soaked cake or tres leches type of cake. This moist, rasmalai and cardamom/rose whipped cream cake hits THE SPOT!
Best Rasmalai Cake (Eggless)
Chai masala is a big component of this next recipe and can easily be found online or in Indian stores. Generally chai masala inclues cloves, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon and ginger.
A lot of homes make their own chai masala blend at home with their own preferences/rations of spices.
Anything with gulab jamun is always the best dessert!
Gulab jamun cake is an easy eggless cardamom cake baked with ready made gulab jamuns inside.
Once baked, the cake is brushed with a saffron simple syrup (chaasni), just like gulab jamuns are.

Chikoo is one of my favorite fruits and tastes so good with cheesecake, hence this Indian fusion dessert. It is a no bake cheesecake recipe which is the best part, especially for these hot summer days.

Eggless Indian carrot cake or gajar ka halwa cake because carrot is an absolute favorite in my family. This cake is loaded with flavor with spices, nuts, raisins, carrots and even pineapple.
It is easy to make and vegan. The cake is Indian inspired by gajar ka halwa which is carrot halwa in English.

Classic Indian milk burfi (barfi) meets the favorite Oreo cookie to make an Indian Fusion treat, cookies and cream burfi!

This is an Indian milk cake recipe taking inspiration from Kesar Pista which is a popular Indian ice cream flavor. It is a favorite combo in my home and I have an alternate recipe for Kesar Pista cupcakes up as well.
The idea for a saffron milk cake Indian influenced came from Kesar Doodh or Saffron Milk which I also have posted as a recipe.

No Bake Mango Cheesecake – Mango Shrikhand Cheesecake with Pistachio Crust
Kesar pista (saffron pistachio) cookies inspired by a hugely popular Indian flavor profile based on kesar pista kulfi or kesar pista ice cream! I have used the flavor profile to make fusion desserts such as Saffron Pistachio Milk Cake and Kesar Pista Cupcakes.
So, making a pistachio saffron cookie version was just a matter of time! If you are really into the flavors, have this with kesar milk! I would love them with a cup of masala chai.

This Indian fusion recipe takes a cardamom cupcake with a fluffy texture which is lightly brushed with saffron simple syrup, giving it a similar mouthwatering taste.
As a bonus, it has a gulab jamun stuffed inside!

Gajar ka halwa is a traditional Indian sweet that is easy to make and super yummy! Its main ingredient is carrots and it is cooked with milk and flavored with spices and some sugar.
It tastes delicious on its own but in this recipe, I’m doing a spin on this sweet by combining this traditional sweet with another dessert which you may be more familiar with – carrot cupcakes!

I love making this creamy dreamy chikoo fruit mousse recipe (sapodilla recipe) when I’m craving chikoo ice cream but don’t want to spend the time waiting for it to be ready to devour!
